Carole Samaha (Lebanese Actress & Singer)

Born in Lebanon, Carole Samaha grew up with her parents and two brothers having only one dream, since childhood, to be on stage under the spotlights.
From a very early age, she was fascinated by music and captured by theater.
Her talent was very obvious and inevitable.After graduating from school, Carole decided to study drama, It was at St Joseph University of Beirut where she took her master degree in Acting & Directing and graduated in 1999.


Since her very first play at University, Carole has been chosen for the leading female role in most important musicals in Lebanon as well as T.V. series.
"Chameleon" is the word most artists and directors who worked with Carole use to describe her.

On stage, she is gifted with a multi-faceted personality; exactly like a Chameleon, she swiftly and smoothly changes from one state of mind to another one.Not only Carole proved herself as an actress, her voice is individual with an ability to express character. This allowed her to perform many songs written by great composers in the Middle East such as Mansour Rahbani.
As a result, Carole succeeds in introducing herself as a promising whole artist who can sing and act with equal aptitude.
Carole is currently essentially focusing on her singing career. Her many hits include Habib Alby, Ettale'a Feya, and Methl El Helm.

Elissar M. Khoury (Elissa)

Elissa the artist within 3 years, could reach after "Badi Doub" song that is still repeated on youth's lips, to the duet with Ragheb Alameh "Betghib Bet Rouh", and after performing along the international artist "Sting", her cherity concert attended by ex-amenican president "Bill Clinton", queen "Rania", and successor of UAE Kingdom , "Sheikh Mohamad Bin Rached Al Maktoum", today Elissa is scoring another new goal in the international scene along with "Ghris Deburgh" an Arabic-english song titted "Lebanese Nights", which was written, composed and distributed by Deburgh himself.
He envisioned writing this song while being in Lebanon on his last visit in a Lebanese restaurant. He decided to sing it with a Lebanese singer, the choice fell on Elissa.

This song is produced by "Chris Porter", a big artist producer such as "George Micheal", and it has been recorded in his studio in Salisburg, London . It will be relaxed in Deburgh's album in August 2002.
Elissa is a Lebanese singer. She's one of those rising new stars who are ahead of her generation, though she has released only two albums, she's a star. Her start was big. Her first album (Baddi Doub) was released in 1998.

It was one of the largest selling Album in Lebanon and the Middle East. She sold over 100.000 copies Cd's and Mc's combined. She performed the big hit (Baddi Doub) with a very well known French Artist (Gerard Ferrer) and was supported by a video clip filmed in black and white, and it's still on high rotation on most Tv's in the Middle East.

Her second Album (W'akherta Maak) was released in Sep 2000.She performed a Duo with the Lebanese Super Star Ragheb Alame" Bitghib Bitrouh" filmed also in black and white. This Duo was a big success in Summer 2000. Another Video clip was performed from the same album "W'akherta Maak" which pushed once more the album to a number 1 selling all around Lebanon and the Middle East. Both videos were high raters and still on high rotation. Her third album "Aayshalak" is released in June 2002 supported by a video clip by the title of the album, filmed in Paris by the famous French director "Fabrice Begotti" and she was officially dressed up by Christian Dior-Paris and so as the Make up. This is the first time for Chrsitian Dior to do officially this event with an Arabic Artist. Elissa has recorded a song "Duo with Chris De Burgh" by the title of "Lebanese nights" which was composed and arranged by Chris De Burgh himself and produced by "Chris Porter" and recorded at Chris Porter's Studio- Salisbury "United Kingdom". This song was inspired By "Chris De Burgh" when he visited Lebanon in the year 2000, while he was in a Lebanese restaurant "Abd El Wahab". At that time he decided to sing for Lebanon with a Lebanese artist and he chose Elissa. This song will be featured on the new Album of "Chris De Burgh" in August, which will be released worldwide. In this song, Elissa has featured as a special appearance and performed in both Languages "Arabic and English". The single will be played on all Lebanese Radio Stations in July 2002. Elissa's events within those years were too many, but the most important were: Performance with Sting on the Pyramids "Cairo", and as a first and only Arabic Artist, she performed to the Ex President of the United States of America "Bill Clinton" for the "Stars charity show " in Dubai in the presence of Queen of Jordan "Queen Rania" and Crown Prince of Dubai " Sheikh Mohamad Bin Rached Al Maktoum". Elissa's latest album "Ahla Donya" was launched in 2004 and contained the beautiful song "Koul Youm Fi Omry" that was a great hit in the Arabic music world.

Haifa Wehbe, Lebanese Singer, Model, Designer, Entertainer

Wehbe was born in a small farming town in Southern Lebanon to a Lebanese father and an Egyptian mother. She grew up listening to Jazz and R&B. She became a Model at a very young age and won the title of "Miss South Lebanon" at age sixteen.
Wehbe's next distinction came in 1995 when she was runner up for Miss Lebanon. By 1996 She was seen on over 100 magazine covers. In 2006, she was on People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people list.
She released her first album, titled Huwa az-Zaman (Arabic: هو الزمن It is Time) which was a hit thanks to her debut single "Agoul Ahwak" (I say I love you)".

Personal life

Wehbe is a Shi'a Muslim. Her three sisters are Alia, Hanna and Rola. The singer lost her brother at the age of 24 during the 1982 Lebanon War.

During Wehbe's marriage, she gave birth to a daughter named Zeinab Zaza. Wehbe has not seen her child since the divorce. Her ex-husband has engaged in parental alienation for over 10 years.
In 2005, she announced her engagement to a Saudi businessman Tariq Al - Jaffali. After only a few weeks, she and her fiancé decided to split for personal reasons and family issues.

On June 25, 2007, Wehbe survived a serious car accident while filming a music video for the song 'Hassa if Benna Haga' in Lebanon. In the video, an airplane was to chase Wehbe as she drove a car. However, the helicopter inadvertently hit the back of Wehbe's car, causing the car to crash. Despite the severity of the accident, Wehbe only suffered minor cuts and bruises.

Her second album Baddi 'Ayš (بدي عيش I Want to Live) was released in 2005 and lived up to expectations due to the success of its lead single "Hayat Albi." Released after the assassination of Lebanese politician Rafik Hariri, the song of the same name is about "freedom, considered to be among the most basic of human rights." Her follow-up single was her biggest hit to date, "Ana Haifa" (أنا هيفا I am Haifa) which became her novelty song. In 2006 she released a follow up single Bus al-Wawa which so far has sold respectably.
Haifa was exclusively interviewed by CNN, Arte TV, Canal Plus (France) and the first Arabic artist to perform on the Italian TV channel Rai Uno during the "Una notte a Roma" event which took place in "Piazza Navona" in Rome with the presence of celebrities and fashion designers.
Wehbe performed in many concerts and special events in Lebanon and the whole world noting that her performance in Kartaba & Rayfoun in Lebanon has reached an audience of over 20,000 and in Tunisia at the Carthage Festival. In Egypt, Haifa performed a duet with Shaggy.
The readers of Al Jamhouria newspaper have elected Haïfa as the 'Best Arabic Young Female Singer', where statistics showed that 4 million people voted her for this title.
Haïfa won the "Golden Lion" Award in Egypt.
Haifa won the Oscar of "best video clip 2005" for her song "Baddi Ich" from her second album.
Haifa also won the "Murex d'Or" award for two consecutive years with the title "best artist of the year" 2005 and 2006.
In June 2005, Haifa launched her own jewelry line collection that she designed with world-renowned jewelers. It is sold throughout the Middle East, Gulf countries and Arab world.
In December 2005, following Elaph's site, Haifa was nominated as the personality of the year with 62% of votes.
In late 2005, Reuter has nominated Haifa as the most beautiful girl in the Middle East.
On June 10, 2006 Haifa became the first artist in the Arab world to perform with rapper 50 cent when she performed as an opening act for his first concert in Lebanon, at BIEL in Beirut.

Ruwaida Attieh (UAE Singer)

Rowaida started playing on the piano when she was 8 years old and she joined a piano concert and got first place for an under 8 competition held in the UAE. She completed her studies in UAE and moved to Lebanon and studied television, broadcast and theatrical direction at the American University of Lebanon. Rowaida joined the program studio Al Fan in 1996 and got a silver medal.

Rowaida signed a contract with Studio Al Fan and then with Al Khoyoul Company and she worked on two songs for the cocktail album with Al Khoyoul. After that she worked in her own album but her contract was terminated before releasing the album.


In 2003 Rowaida released her first album with Rotana and she filmed 3 songs for it. Her latest album was labeled (Agoulik Shay) included 10 songs, two of them were filmed as video clips and the song (Gareeb Al Tobaye'e) was filmed in a new technique where video graphics and 3D were employed in it and it was Rowaida Idea.
